| Prune Shrubs and Trees |
As part of our overall maintenance program for both residential and commercial properties, Interlink Landscaping provides pruning for both shrubs and trees. We install shrubs and trees on your property as well as maintain them year round for you. You can also directly purchase and acquire shrubs and trees from us directly to fulfill your landscaping projects.
After you have installed the landscape of your preference, Interlink Landscaping’s team of maintenance professional will ensure that your property is well taken care of. Enjoy a pleasing environment that also enhances the value of your property through our shrub and tree installation and maintenance services. A supervisor is assigned specifically to your property to manage maintenance for your landscape in a customized program.
Pruning involves removing specific parts of plant such as branches and occasionally roots, seed pods, and flower buds for the overall healthy functioning of the plant. Proper pruning requires a skilled and experienced hand to prevent over or under-pruning that can result in overgrown or diseased plants. Pruning should be part of a regular maintenance plan. Interlink Landscaping provides five types of pruning: pinching, heading back, thinning, rejuvenation, and shearing. Pinching involves removing the end of the green shoot before it becomes too woody, while heading back removes the terminal end of a woody branch, making the plant denser and changing its shape. Thinning creates a plant with a more open appearance without stimulating too much new growth and is the least conspicuous pruning method while rejuvenation removes all older branches of shrubs, leaving only the youthful branches remaining. Finally, shearing removes the end of shoots with clippers, causing quick and abundant growth on the plant exterior.
